DENVER (AP) -- Some Colorado fans are upset after music superstar Madonna used guns during a performance.
Bing: Madonna's tour controversy
Madonna started her show Thursday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver with a gun scene, which she has used in previous performances.
According to KUSA-TV, the station received several calls Friday from concertgoers saying they were offended she used guns and violence as part of her show in light of recent events in the state that included a mass shooting at a theater during a Batman movie on July 20 that left 12 people dead.

In a statement before beginning the tour, Madonna said she does not condone the use of guns. She said she is using the guns as symbols of intolerance and "the pain I have felt from having my heart broken."
Ahahaahahahahahaha. Its just a gun you oversensitive whiners. The fact that ANYONE called up and complained would be hilarious if it wasnt so pathetically sad. She didnt fire the thing at anyone. It is a piece of precision crafted metal. A tool. That doesn't kill or harm anyone, its the intentions of the user behind it. I guess we should let any tragic event completlye change our way of life now? So if someone dies in a helicopter crash, and a celebrity flies in one, are they being insensitive? Come on now, this is absurdly rediculous. I am no fan of Madonna, but if you get offended by something as small as that, I worry for your future. Cause it sounds like your gonna get offended by just about everyone and everything. That is a sad, fearful way to live your life.
Get over it people.
There is no doubt that the Colorado Shootings was a tragedy. However if you start to live in the shadows because of horrible events like this you are doing exactly what these criminals have set out to do and that is to make you live in fear, strip you of your freedoms, and make you feel uneasy in your hometown.
Remember the "fallen" and not the "act of terror" or the "criminals" themselves.
