Justin Bieber drops 'Beauty and a Beat' video, shows 'personal footage'

Sarah Maloy

Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and dozens of dancers go swimming and get wild after dark in a waterpark for his new "Beauty and a Beat" video, which debuted Friday.

The video opens with some of the "personal footage" that was supposedly stolen from Bieber and his tour manager during a show in Washington state. "In October of 2012 three hours of personal footage was stolen from musician Justin Bieber," the video opens. "The following footage was illegally uploaded by an anonymous blogger."

Bing: Bieber stolen items

The "hacker" has been tweeting back and forth with Bieber for days, leaking bits of footage and threatening to release more. Friday, he premiered Justin's video, after the pop star tweeted, "Since I was 14 I have had a lot of things said about me, from dying, to taking hormones, to dying again, to stuff about my family, to saying I had a baby with a woman I never even met. Nude pics, drugs, my family, my character... but today... today I get to be in on it."

As "Beauty and a Beat" opens, we see Bieber schooling someone in ping pong, watch childhood footage of the 18-year-old superstar, and then go behind the scenes at a video shoot, before Bieber takes control of the camera and the song begins.

The new video is all about having fun and embracing youth, and dozens of young adults play games, dance, and dive through the water as Bieber sings, "Just forget about the world/we're young tonight." He even takes his choreographed dance moves into the pool, diving underwater -- and taking the camera with him -- before emerging with a splash.

Nicki Minaj shows up for her verse three minutes into the song, dressed in pink fur and tulle, staying just long enough for a quick grind with Bieber and a line about keeping an "eye out for Selena."

What's the name of this dudes marketing team?  Their clients must consist of no talent idiots. It's got to be the same one Britney Spears has.

LOL MSN how much did the promoters pay you??? Not just one but two headliners about this little freak! The day when he can show me that he actually got talent and his own style has yet to come. The constant imitating of Legend Michael Jackson has become so obvious to so many, that I wonder what are the real reasons behind this? Not just is he using MJ legendary concert props, but also intros and melodies of his songs, his videos, his clothes and even the legendary MJ trade mark - the face mask! At this point I will quote the Master Michael Jackson " It is better to fail in Originality than to succeed in Imitation!" No truer quote can be made for Justin Bieber! I know you all are desperate to find a "white" (sorry about that) kid to be hailed the new "King of Pop", dear God you are so blatant in your attempts to erase Michael Jackson, but as long as I live on this Earth this ain't going to happen ever. His light will dim in a couple of years time, just like his predecessors Timberlake, Backstreet Boys etc., difference is that those guys at least could perform and though they used MJ dance moves they at least did it in subtle ways. Justin Bieber has been put to the top by a certain group of people and is heavily promoted by Media and their Elite owners. If not for those, he would not even get a look in. There are far more superior singers out there. As for his Manager find a style for your puppet and refrain from using anything MJ related. We are not all 13 years old, we have eyes and ears.
