Madonna has clarified comments she made about President Barack Obama after branding the American leader a "black Muslim" during a recent concert.
The singer gave her backing to President Obama as he fights for a second term in the White House during her show in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
Bing: Madonna's concert controversies
After comparing him to Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. in a video montage, the singer -- who had 'Obama' written on her back -- told the audience, "Y'all better vote for f---ing Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. That's some amazing s--t. It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, goddamn it."
However, following a backlash over her remarks, Madonna insists she was merely mocking some right-wing factions who believe the politician is a follower of Islam.
A statement from the star reads, "I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim -- though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is. And what if he were? The point I was making is that a good man is a good man, no matter who he prays to. I don't care what religion Obama is -- nor should anyone else in America."

I still say this is the most twisted woman on the circuit. Reflect on what this woman says. Obama is for Gay rights, therefore we need to re-elect him? Amazing to say the least.
