The "No More Drama" singer was four songs in at the MGM Grand Arena when she told the audience, "I got a real good friend in the building. He's one of the most amazing artists to ever walk the earth."
The pop legend then walked onstage and took his place with Blige's band to complete a rendition of Chaka Khan's "Sweet Thing." The pair went on to perform a duet of Prince-penned track "Nothing Compares 2 U," which was a worldwide hit for Sinead O'Connor.
Pink, Taylor Swift, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull also performed at the festival.
