Swift wrote the song after reading the blog of Ronan's mother, Maya Thompson, who is credited as a co-writer.According to a person familiar with the show, but who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to speak, the song has never been performed in public. After the telethon, it will be available on iTunes; all proceeds will go to cancer-related charities.

This is so sweet. I have cried, cried, and cried. I have a passion for kids and this just breaks my heart. I applaud you Taylor for writing this song. God has His hands on Ronan and his family. This song has really touched me. And no one deserves cancer, but it seems like there is always someone you know with it. I will never forget this and I will spread the word about this little boy,and the foundation.

I have a lot of respect for Taylor...she seems to have a good foundation and is using her talents to bless others in her life.  I hope she will never let the show business side of things interfere with what she does best.

I agree with you white feather. Taylor does have class. Her parent did an excellant job of raising her. SHE THE KIND OF GIRL THAT A MOTHER HOPE HER SON WOULD BRING HOME TO MEET. It is so refreshing.
