Frank Ocean To Play SNL, VMAs

According to Entertainment Weekly, Frank Ocean will be the musical guest the 9/15 season opener of Saturday Night Live. This comes on the heels of (less surprising) news that Frank will also perform MTV's Video Music Awards, where he's also nominated for Best New Artist and a few other things (that will air 9/6). If he serves up anything even close to this, it's can't-miss TV. The only downside here is that the SNL episode in question will be hosted by the insufferable Seth MacFarlane.

I may be the only one, but I was not impressed by Frank Ocean's performance on the VMAs.  Until the VMAs I had never even heard of him.
