Bon Iver named Worst Hipster Act

Acclaimed folk rockers Bon Iver have been named and shamed in a new magazine poll to find the Worst Hipster Act.

Singer/songwriter Justin Vernon's group top the new LA Weekly list -- ahead of Tune-Yards and Arcade Fire.

Find: What did Justin Vernon think of Justin Timberlake's 'SNL' spoof?

Bright Eyes and Grizzly Bear round out the top five, and MGMT, fun., The Decemberists, Sleigh Bells and The Black Keys also make the top 20.

The magazine's editors describe hipster acts as those performing "retro garage and soul music" and dressed in "vintage garb likely infested with lice."

Geesh, this is just totally ridiculous.  Who do these people in LA think they are?  I wholeheartedly agree with the posted comment of Alyssa Plese that all of that mainstream stuff is repetitive garbage, brainwashing the masses.  Also, the suggestion that the vintage garb is infested with lice is highly offensive.  Long live the great hipster acts!  They are the true creatives in the music community and make life worth listening to and worth living.

Screw all you mainstream losers who listen to nothing but repetitive crap! The bands on this list have more character then every single one of you put together.

Those are some of the best bands out there today. People today are used to turning on the radio which is full of crap and have lost any sense of taste

In other words, the groups on this list are the only real musicians.
