WENN

Two teenage music fans have been charged with assault after attacking an 11-year-old girl and stealing her souvenir beach ball at Sunday night's Lollapalooza festivities in Chicago.

The two 19-year-olds were apprehended by police on site minutes after one of them punched the girl in the stomach and made off with her souvenir.

The Chicago Sun-Times newspaper reports the girl's mother alerted cops patrolling the event.

One of the teens was charged with misdemeanour counts of battery, assault and intoxication by a minor, while the other was handed a misdemeanour assault count.

It's wrong, yes, and if I were the judge I'd hand down ten years forced petticoating, but they'd probably grow to like it.

It's times like this I'm glad certain essentialist tendencies remain as far as needing to keep females from harm (which should be paramount regardless, even if one wasn't being essentialist).  Hopefully these two failed miscarriages will be driven to self-harm if not outright suicide after repeated taunts of (said in my best Butthead) "Dude, you hit a girl.  You buttmunch."

Full marks for keeping the "Looza" in Lollapalooza, both of you.

Disgusting, teenaged boys picking on an 11-year old girl. What cowards they must be.

They're lucky I wasn't there, I'd be the one with the assault charge.
