After announcing a pair of October performances at Brooklyn's new Barclays Center, Barbra Streisand has plotted six additional tour dates for that month.

The trek, promoted by Live Nation and S2BN, will begin on Oct. 8 in Philadelphia and conclude with a performance at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on Oct. 29.
Chris Botti and Il Volo will serve as openers on all eight October dates. Tickets for Streisand's Oct. 17 performance in Montreal go on sale on Saturday, Aug. 11, while all other tickets can be purchased beginning next Monday.

Earlier this year, Streisand signed a new deal to remain on her longtime label, Columbia Records. Only Tony Bennett has been on the label longer than Streisand, who released her first album, "The Barbra Streisand Album," in 1963.
