Celeb friends of the family took to Twitter to offer their condolences. Def-Jam founder Russell Simmons tweeted, "I am sending out every prayer I got to Tameka, Ryan, Usher and their family." Rickey Smiley wrote, "Usher's stepson Kile Glover has been taken off of life support. Please pray for Tameka Raymond." "My heart and prayers are with Tameka & Usher and their families. I'm sorry for your lost, I'm here for both of you. From my family to yours," wrote Toni Braxton.
Kile is one of two children between Foster and Atlanta TV exec Ryan Glover, her first husband. Foster and Usher, who divorced in 2009, have two sons, 4-year-old Usher V (4) and 3-year-old Naviyd.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Georgia Department of
Natural Resources identified the driver of the personal watercraft as Jeffrey S.
Hubbard.
