Madonna escapes paparazzi, explores Italy in 'Turn Up the Radio' video

Hurried glances, leotards and driving in cars with boys: Madonna does it all in the music video for her new single, "Turn Up the Radio," which debuted Monday (July 16).

Filmed in the midst of her world tour, Madonna's video showcases the svelte singer as she traipses around the Italian countryside, bringing along anyone who looks like fun.

Madge seems down-to-earth and affable in the clip, requesting that her driver stop her private car so she can get out and watch a group of street dancers. She even puts the top on the car back, really letting loose as the European breeze blows back her blond hair.

The rest of the video features suspicious-looking streetwalkers, hookah smokers and throngs of fans who cheer as Madonna throws on her shades, waves and tilts her head back with a smile.

Madonna's "MDNA," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in April with 359,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, was her eighth No. 1 album. Her seven-month world tour is set to arrive in the U.S. on Aug. 28 with a show in Philadelphia.

There was some pretty bad editing in the video. In one place you can see all the camera people in front of the car filming her (3:15). Lip syncing was pretty bad. I wanted to like it but I didn't.
