
A bearded, tweed-bedecked Justin Timberlake played Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon on "Saturday Night Live" last night in a sketch where Beyoncé (host Maya Rudolph) and Jay-Z (played by Jay Pharoah) field a parade of celebrity visitors for their new baby.

Perhaps concerned that he'd offended the mellow folk-rockers, who had served as the "SNL" musical guest just two episodes ago, Timberlake held up a large sign professing his love for Bon Iver during the show's closing credits.

Timberlake needn't have worried, as Justin Vernon rapturously tweeted about the portrayal soon afterwards: "holy sh**, i was just watching SNL and JT did a Bon Iver hilarious thing! Also, Maya Rudolph saying 'bon iver' is enough. I can die now!!!"
