Aretha Franklin has fractured her toe after stumbling over her high heels during a promotional trip.
The Queen of Soul is currently touring America promoting her album "A Woman Falling Out Of Love" and was staying in Dallas on Friday as part of the trek. She caught her toe on one of her spiky Jimmy Choo shoes and fell over in her hotel suite.

The singer's representative reveals to People.com that it "hurt like heck for a minute, but seemed to subside."
Franklin stopped off at the Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, where X-rays revealed she had fractured a toe on her left foot.
But she is taking the injury lightly, saying, "I'm so grateful it wasn't my right piano (pedal) foot. ... How am I supposed to match my new Marc Jacobs gown with this wooden blue hospital shoe?"
Boo Hoo. Soldiers are dying, people are losing their jobs and their homes. Businesses all across the country are closing or laying off workers. Children are starving.
But, a spoiled rotten diva gets an ouchy on her toe from wearing shoes she's apparently not coordinated enough to walk in? And this is news? I'm supposed to care? Loved her music until she developed the "I'm so special" attitude. Get over yourself. And get some sensible shoes.
