Joe Jackson Seeks Allowance from Michael Jackson's Estate
Entertainment Tonight.

Michael Jackson's father is reportedly trying to obtain an allowance from the late singer's estate.

The Associated Press reports that an attorney for Joe Jackson filed court papers in Los Angeles Friday seeking an allowance for the 81-year-old.

The King of Pop's will from 2002, according to the AP, allows for money to be paid to his mother Katherine Jackson, his three children and charitable organizations.

The AP reports that a judge has approved $26,000 in monthly payments to his mother and $60,000 monthly for the care of his children -- "Prince" Michael, Paris and "Blanket."
