This cd is for everybody, for the beat lovers, the lyrics lovers, for everybody. Got some platinum producers like Just Blaze and Mannie Fresh, with great collaborations, with UGk, Young Buck, PSC, Jamie Foxx, and he even did an song with Common ( i give it 5 stars). There some funny skits with Mike Epps on there also. If u get this cd i GUARANTEE u will love it!

Sign In 1 out of 2 users found this helpful  good albumPosted: 6/8/2006A review of King by pac_makaveli_shakur-ri p- i always saw T.I. as a talanted rapper, and this being his fourth he done a good job,i like most of his previus hits. and this realease toghether with his movie ATL, great choice to realese on same day, i didnt see the movie yet but heard good reviews so far. hopfuly TIP will keep being as good as he is.. It reminds of Trap Muzik because every song is a smash! Im really glad that he released The Leak as a mixtape because it probably generated a lot of attention as this album did! In 2003 TrapMuzik the biggest album of his carrer made him what he is. Now 2006 T.I. strikes back with his albumKing. From the first track King Back it proves the album will be great from top to bottom. The second track was Front Back ft. UGK.
The track is taken from UGKs old hit Front back Side to Side. With a spin from Mannie Fresh and DJ Drama. What You Know might just be the best song T.I. has ever made in his career. Along side Get It another swizz beatz production which is just as good as Bring Em Out And even better. The Amazing track Top Back shows you what to do with your beats and that is produced by Mannie Fresh.
Along side other beat makers including Just Blaze who made a very god beat for T.I. in Im Talking To You. In Other words this album is great but still doesnt approve for a classic. Some tracks like GoodLife and Told You So dont really help the album. All in all 5 stars is good! D Was this review helpful? However, when you take into consideration all the hype surrounding the album, the anticipation of a career defining classic, and Urban Legend, the true rating would be 3 and a half. King doesnt do quite the convincing as T.I. would like it to do (just saying youre a king on every track is not enough). With productions from Pharrell, Swiss Beatz, Mannie Fresh, Just Blaze and others, it is obvious that this album was prepped for commercial success. The more RnB like tracks, which shows a side of T.I.P. which many trapstars are not accustomed to seeing, is also a dead giveaway. The album does give fans another dose of those T.I. fashioned singles that are sure to be blasted through speakers this summer (Top Back being my favorite).
