On My Own is now my anthem and i dont know i love it. the whole cd is an awesome theme for all the outcast in the world. i love the used they rock my face off. haha Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful amazingi must say this album is amazing to me, this band has become my all time fave band, the veriety of music on this album is a amazing, it goes from intesnse gut wrenching screaming like in maybe memories and a box of sharp objects, but then a softer croonig like voice in blue and yellow and on my own, amazing guitar playing as well,quinn allmen, proballyu will blow your mind away, the intensety is amazing, and as for the druming i must compliment it especially in poetic tragedy and bulimic, infact and the singing i have to compliment, all the screams are in the right place and singing has the perfect pitch for each of the songs, it just goes along with the guitar aand bass, so my compliments to Bert McCraken, Brandon Steineckert, Quinn Allmen, and Jeph Howard, now i do have to say some ppl wont all like this album, one is the high pitch voice and the quality on songs like say days ago and peices mended, but still i think this album is amazing and find it hard to beleve for ppl to ot enjoy it Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  wow.Well I havent actually gotten this CD yet it should come in the mail sometime soon for me but a few tracks finaled my descision to get it. Man did I spell that right? But anyway, the singles that they have out, just, ROCK. I am seriously freaking dying to hear "The Taste Of Ink" every moment of my life and I will listen to it forever when I get the CD. I also LOVE "Buried Myself Alive" and "Box Full Of Sharp Objects", but as I said before, I need the CD. I'll write another review after I get it. I love The Used's 2nd album too it really made me want to get te first because the 2nd rocked SO HARD. I absolutely LOVE Bert's vocals and Quinn's amazing guitar. The words are really emotional and all too and they just make you want to listen, these guys. But I just think the Used ROCKS and if you dont like them, well just go listen to them. I actually HATED the single from the second record "Take it Away" But then I listened. I cant get enough of it now because I listened. So yall @#$% if you hate the Used because they will RULE you. Really. I would like to thank Fuse for showing me how much The Used rocks and always playing their old singles so that I love them and then buy the cd. The Used rocks your effing socks off. A lot better. But the singer's high pitched emo vocals go beyond just annoying. Its like he takes Estrogen and then goes onstage and whines his highest. The only tracks I dont like are the ones where Bert is screaming so much that you dont even understand the words to the song. And thats just me because I like being able to hear the actual words. To make TRUE meaning of the songs. But all in all this CD is awesome. Best tracks are probably Poetic Tragedy, Buried Myself Alive, Pieces Mended and all the extra tracks. Was this review helpful?
