These are 5 of rock and rolls history, and anyone who loves music should own this album. Was this review helpful? Enough said.

All 5 are renowned as brilliant guitarists, hence the album has a phenomenal acoustic/rock sound.

An awesome, must have album for anyone. "Handle With Care" and "End of the Line" are probably the most well known songs on the album and two all-time greats ;D Was this review helpful? Needless to say, I didn't expect much.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Even though on this moreso than the superior Volume 2 you can pretty well pick out who wrote what, I found myself liking most of these tracks. The ELO-esque "Heading for the Light," the obvious Roy Orbison track "You're Not Alone Anymore," and the excellent rockers "Dirty World" and "Rattled" proved these guys had a lot of fun together, and that transferred to the recordings themselves. It was a delightful idea, five old pros hitting the studio and making a record, and it works on most levels.
Tom Petty evidently worships Bob Dylan, for you can see that ever since this album he's been sounding more and more like him!
I would recommend this for lovers of rollicking rockabilly. It delivers that and more. Was this review helpful?
