Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Fantastic Album, really.In all honesty, anyone that tells you another Album captures the soul of 90s music and the FEEL of the decade more essentially than THIS album, lies horrendously.
Dexter and the Boys captured the heart and soul from the first note any of us ever caught, MAINLY via videos at first, but then the acquisition of this album. Ill never forget any of the songs on this album, and neither will anyone thats ever listened to it. Its just one of those albums you could toss on and listen to from start to finish, and sing along the whole way through. Ahhh... its time to relax... Was this review helpful? This song is not only filled with nothing but good songs, but it has 3 of the best classic songs ever made. (Gotta Get Away, Come Out And Play, and Self Esteem). Why? Because ALL the songs on this album are great. It isn't like other cd's where there are 2-3 bad songs on it.
Some songs are better than others, but there simply isn't a bad one on this cd.
Most of the songs are easy to relate to and catchy so you'll really enjoy listening to them. It also has a great flow from one track to another.
Definatly recommended. If you've never listened to "The Offspring" before, this is the album you should start out with. Was this review helpful? (first is 'roll on' by the living end) This is the album that made them famous, and for a bloody good reason!!!! most CD's theres a couple of songs u like, a couple u love and a couple u hate, but if ur into rock, punk or grunge, ull love every piece of smash. This album contains sum their greatest hits. with Come out and Play, Self Esteem, Gotta Get Away and Bad Habbit plus more 'gems'.I would say the highlights, but its a friggin 14 track highlight! even the freaking 'welcome' is great, i listen to it every time. so, buy this album, then.... This cd is their second best ( at least in my opinion), But I have vowed to buy all of their cds at some point, only problem is finding them. Anyway, this was my first offspring cd, and I REALLY enjoyed it. The energy they give to the songs makes you pay attention and hear them out while enjoying their songs and their rhythm. The hits keep on coming, and the songs keep getting better and better when you listen to this cd. The intro is a great opener, and then you listen to Nitro, the first song in the cd. You will flip out when you hear this song (hear the song and youll know what I mean). Then Bad Habit, keep listening on to Genocide, later comes Come Out and Play, Then quite possibly the best track in the cd, Self-esteem. The geat and kick ass songs keep on coming, and you wont be dissapointed. You will enjoy this cd!!!!!!! Was this review helpful?
