The Killers have made me come into this decade and fall in love! Mr. Brightside doesnt sound like the same old industry cranked out pablum for the masses, and thats just fine with me. I work in the public sector with a radio blarring all day, and I ignore everything thats on it. One afternoon I heard this song and couldnt get enough. Now, not only do I have a new favorite song, but a new favorite band. I wish great things for these tallented men, and I hope they wont be just a flash in the pan, because we all know how fickle fame is. I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!! BUY THE CD!!!!! Dont get me wrong, I like the band. I know one of the members quite well. Some of these reviews make this band sound like the new Beetles or something. They are good, best song being Smile Like You Mean It but not that good. 4 stars is stretching it a bit. I look forward to the next album. I gotta tell ya, the dummer in this band, Ronnie V. has been in some incredible bands. He is super talented. To sum it up, Buy it, its worth owning.

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful the killers rockPosted: 11/10/2005A review of Hot Fuss [U.S. Version] by Dark_AngelGC hot fuss is definately a good album, the lyrics are interesting, containg themes such cheating, dating, mixed in with a little sarcasm at times. the vocals harmonize well with the instuments. hot mr. flowers does a great job singing as he has an almost soothing voice. the best songs are smile like you mean it, mr. brightside, all these things that ive done, somebody told me and andy your a star. the rest of the album is good too although the songs tend to sound to much the same at times. overall a good buy Was this review helpful?
