Hes very original with his lyrics in every song. Some rappers are all cliche and talk about the same thing, but The Game actually has something to say. Each song has a message. They hit you hard, fast, and they never skip a beat. The Game has a lot of potential. This album is only the start of his career. If you want to hear true rap, get this album.
I recommend Westside Story, Higher, Dreams...heck, I recommend all of them. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful More Than Just A Rapper......Posted: 1/4/2006A review of The Documentary [Explicit Version] [Explicit] by StashyStash The rap star with the hottest album of 2005 is not just another rhyme slinging, gun toting, money hungry rapper, he is one of a very few lineup of hip hop superstars who are actually professionals at what they do (which include Dr. Dre, Eminem and kanye West just to name a few.) No track on this rather superb album is worth skipping. The way he never misses a beat, always stays on top of his rhythms and assaults each song with a lyrical lashing and flow that can only be compared with the greatest there was The Notorious B.I.G. proves that The Game has what it takes to be the greatest rapper of all time. Only time will tell if leaving G-Unit was a good idea or not as we patiently await the follow up masterpiece. All I can say for now is well done Game well done! Was this review helpful? The game is a artist with depth in his style of rap. And he has proven with this album that hes here to stay. Most albums in the store shelfs right now only have the singles and no other decent tracks to their barrage but suprisingly to think the game has all his songs filled with flow. The game may lack variety with differnet styles unlike 50 cent. But this album proves that hes the real deal with gangsta rap, nwa has reborn with a blood. Was this review helpful?
