I believe that anyone who cannot see the brilliant creative genius that went into the production of this album must be blind or just a slave of the pop rock cult. Morrison expresses anguish in a new light as well as experimenting with new musical ideas expressed on Runnin' Blue. A complete mix of raw emotion and talent unsurpassed by any of late.

Now, The Doors have always been a rather unusual band but they had that quality that made our souls jump inside. But this album especially gave me passion and inspiration. This album contains masterpieces of which can only be explained as ";Art Rock."; The mixture of The Doors' soul shattering electric energy and an explosive and powerful Orchestra make this album, ";Orchestra Rock at its best!";

Although i'm a die hard Doors fan i must admit this album is a little weak. Tell all the people is a song Morrison didn't want to have credit for, but anyhow, the Doors experiment with a brass section in this album and I don't think the band the horns meshed very well. However there are a couple of great songs on this album like Touch Me, Wild Child, and Wishful Sinful. Even though some songs are weak, who could blame the Doors for wanting to experiment, it was the era to experiment right?
