On this recording, she takes us on a roller-coaster ride of fiery, up-tempo disco beats, only stopping occasionally for a little balladry, to calm your pulse rate before the next slammer song. Latin American Pop is all about passion, or corazon, and this recording conveys this electrifyingly. Standout tracks include Regresa a Mi, which could be a latino version of Chers hit Believe, the dynamic drive of Suerte En Mi, and the Mariachi inflections of Rosalinda. Try listening to Pata Pata without tapping your toes. Its impossible. This is the kind of disc which cries out for international exposure, its very good. I honestly have to say that I am proud to be a mexican when people like thalia represent us the way she does. Ultimately speaking for all the haters, she is a successful and talented latina.... She gies it a 110% job wen doing her job and she deserves all the respect... Thalia is a really nice person n she deserves the best... This album is sung entirely in Spanish, but don't let that discourage you. Thalia is great. Her music is up-beat and energetic. The closest comparison would have to be with Latin superstar Shakira. Arrasando i prduced numerous hits and was a huge success. The language barrier is not a set back to this album, yet a plus. It allows the listener to experience music from different cultures and languages. Look for Thalia to enter mainstream as Shakira has. Terrific album and a must for the latin music enthusiast.
