TheyRe some crazy bastards that know how to make good music. i luv System for the badasseRy they create and the dedication to their roots. i suppoRt the cause to rise the truth about the Armenian Genocide. SOAD is so unique and they defy regular rock band expectations. I think the best songs are Dreaming, Kill Rock n Roll, U-fig, Vincinity of Obscenity, and Soilder Side. ANd this is the best album of the year.

Im not putting this album down or anything.......or maybe i am, but it just seems like SOAD rushed this album and didnt put the kind of soul into it like self titled and Toxicity. If you wanna hear the true essence of SOAD go buy Self Titled, Toxicity or Steal This Album! Holy Mountains is the best song in my opinion. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful insane.Posted: 2/24/2006A review of Hypnotize [Explicit] by vickersjmv this cd is the best one theyve come out with. it mixes all of their music into one cd, all of the songs are done perfectly, and the instruments and vocals are so much more insane than they used to be, its just done right. the whole cd is good but the best songs are kill rock n roll, its about when he ran over a rabbit and he named it rock n roll as a tribute, hypnotize is the hit, or s, whatever you prefer. I love how they use comedy and everyday life events like war.
They are great and i recomend this album to anyone that likes rock. To all u gangsters go by your p-diddy crap but to all the rockers out there buy this. But after listening to it constantly. I got hooked. Badly.
Attack - Kicks the album off beautifully.
Dreaming - I cant describe how I feel when I hear this.
Kill Rock n Roll - This was my first favourite song on the album.
Hypnotize - Good the first few times you hear it, then it gets repetitive.
Stealing Society - Great song, now one of my favourites.
Tentative - Another of the greats.
U-fig - Does get repetitive, but good.
Holy Mountains - One of the longest songs on the album, great!
Vicinity of Obscenity - I cracked up laughing first time I heard this song, its very weird. But very great. I could probably never get sick of this song.
Shes Like Heroin - Darons major song I think on this album, can get annoying but good in moderation.
Lonely Day - Or maybe this is Darons major song, oh well. This song is good, no wonder theyre scheduling it for their next single.
Soldier Side - Leaves the album on a sad note, talking about sons leaving for war. God was dressed in black....

I didnt like this album at first and it took a few times through before i really understood what System of a Down was doing with this album. Certinaly they display a greater level of musicianship on this album then ever before, and the harmonies provided by Daron add a new level to the music although most of the time it seems that he should stick to guitar. This album is definatly a new page for System of a Down. Their not the same group they were when they put out their self titled album, this is some what of a good thing, some what of a bad thing. It dissapoints me that most people will be introduced to System of a down with these new albums and not the gems that were Toxicity and their self titled. Was this review helpful? So I now own all soad Cds except the singles. The lyrics arent as bad as everyone thinks. But just look up the lyrics on the system web page if you doubt on wheither to buy it or not.
