Well this band has some of the best clean guitar playing i have herd in a while. My Dad introduced me to this band and overall i was impressed. I like Chocolate the best on this cd but that is just me. They have a few songs on the radio and in games so they are trying to get into the market. Definetly get this cd if you like mellow rock with a bit of up beat flavor to it. TRY IT!!

I heard them on the radio once and bought the cd. Never heard of them before, but glad I did. This disc is great from beginning to end. Never boring and different sounding tracks all the way through. Can't wait to hear more.

I was ecouraged to "listen on" to Snow Patrol after tuning in to the first song, “How to Be Dead”. I knew right then that if the rest of the cuts maintained a similar songwriting flare, then it would be a personal winner for me. Snow Patrol didn’t let me down as I continued to listen to the remainder of the songs. I quickly downloaded “How to Be Dead” then fell for “Spitting Games”, a more upbeat tune than some of their songs, which are more on the melodic side. Do you like Coldplay? Then try “Run”. Being a Coldplay fan, I hit the download button for that one too. Although short in length, “Grazed Knees” impressed me. I gave 5 stars to “Same” and “Somewhere a Clock Is Ticking”. I chose “Same” to finish off a four song download. You may consider the entire album, but I’m just picky. Enjoy this group. I gave it 4 stars, and I don't give stars freely.

Finally, a band I can really sink my teeth into! I've been running around, avoiding near everything new, but Snow Patrol really restores my faith in the current music scene. Their catchy riffs and infectious lyricism are a guilty pleasure. A BIG recommendation for anyone that loves rock-pop, but doesn't want to deal with the mainstream garbage that we have today. :)

This is a CD i've been meaning to buy for quite some time and Im glad I did. I love the lead singer's voice cause of his accent and huskiness making it really distinct. You won't regret buying this CD. "Run" "Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking" are freat tracks to listen to. Actually, the whole thing is great. This band needs more global publicity cause there so different to those other bands out there but they's be too overated like Maroon 5 and all those other bands that don't deserve the publicity -_-" "Wow" is a good song to rock out to so check that out, actually, chech the whole thing out and you wont have any regrets ^.^

EA Sports introduced me to Snow Patrol. This may one of the best moves that the music industry could make – infiltrate video games. There are ten modern rock tracks on MVP Baseball 2004 for the Xbox, and Snow Patrol’s “Spitting Games” was my favorite song I would hear as I would ready myself for another Braves game. “Spitting Games” sounds like an American rock song, with upbeat guitars and surprisingly clear lyrics. It then surprised me to find out that Snow Patrol is British, and the rest of the album has that Brit-pop flavor to it, a la Coldplay and Travis. And yet again to my surprise, I enjoyed most of the songs on the album. Nothing brought me goose-bumps like Keane’s Hopes and Fears, but I was happy with the CD overall. However, I was disappointed with the content of some of the songs, with drug references occurring a handful times, but other than one track, this is a clean album. It did not weigh heavily enough to shake my enthusiasm for the album, though. Favorite tracks: “Spitting Games” “Run” “Chocolate” You may like Snow Patrol if you like: Coldplay R.E.M.
