Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  a great follow up effortPosted: 6/16/2004A review of Doggystyle by Simply_Sancho I think Doggystyle is infact a stronger overall album than The Chronic as The Chronic seems to slow down near the end where as Doggystyle keeps the same energy all the way through. Released in '93 when the G-Funk sound was at it's peak and West Coast rappers were at there most productive this album is close to perfection. I would recommend this album to anyone that is a fan of Snoop or Dre, anyone that liked The Chronic and to anyone that likes Hip-Hop music. The beats on this album are flawless and Snoop's mellow voice and rhymes just roll off his tongue making a deadly combination that in my opinion makes this one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums ever to be released. I don't think Snoop will ever top this album, that is unless he teams up with Dre again. other recommended Hip-Hop albums are Nas:- Illmatic, Dr. Dre:- The Chronic and 2001, N.W.A:- Straight Outta Compton, Notorious B.I.G.:- Ready To Die & Life After Death, 2Pac:- All Eyez On Me, Ice Cube:- AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted and Wu-Tang Clan:- Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). these ten albums are among the best ever to be released in Hip-Hop and beat the sh*t out of modern day Hip-Hop, Arrivederci. I don't want what you all have to offer... You small clips from songs is very pathetic I would rather go to the Mall and listen to the whole song or use another means on the computer to get the song.. Your streaming time is very poor and the whole thing is not worth my time.. Nice try but you still don't get it .. Let me have my pirate radio anyday over this sorry excuse of a web page.. My mom herd it and tripped out. "The cursing", she said. But I loved that tape to death. I haven't herd the whole CD in years, but I still know the whole thing by heart. It is by far the best Snoop CD out there. The one and only that I can listen to the whole way through. I just wanted to say that this CD is the shiz nit and it's a classic from when rap was cool.
