it's amazing the way sakira sings in this album, as well the lyrics are spreading, you listen so you get in touch with every song of this album
over on top. it's interesting the way she makes her thoughts in songs, the way she takes a instrument and she made up a song.
If you wanna get a huge album.
you have to buy this!
lo mejor de lo mejor fuera de que rompe esquemas de la musica latinoamericana al imponerse con un nuevo sonido y una voz unica, incluyendo el talento que tiene para crear sus propias canciones.
EXCELENTE!

The instant that TEJANO music died and went to heaven like its queen SELENA was the instant that i drived away. I stumbled upon thia album and quickly slapped myself LATIN/Rock what a consept. thats right Latinos can Rock. They Dont only drink beer and cry all the time( in Song) Donde Estan los Ladrones is the best Latin Album in the world Produced By EMILIO ESTEFAN (finaciallY) and Shakira herself the lyrics are not just catchy nor comercially satisfying but true and very personal . Shakira emerges as the embassador in the singer/songwriter categories but unlike those Juan Gabriel and Enrique Iglesias Shakira puts more than thought and music her soul his heard and her voice is sometimes angelical. all the musical arrangements are first class leaving no stone unturned Donde Estan los Ladrones stands out like her sister in song Alanis Morissettes Jaged Little Pill the difference being Shakiras tone,sexuality . The Best Latin Album Ever. ALL THE TRACKS SHINE U WOULD BE A FOOL LISTEN TO IT>;

Shakira is an artis like no one she sing the truth and even do I am latin there is a lot of latin singers trying to do what she does and they are not even close. I love her song, her moves, her personality she is great and i am looking foward to go to her concert.Shakiras song let you relax and at the same time let you have fun at any time they fit your moods. I think Shakira's songs touch everyone. She sings about real issues, and everything is straight from the heart. Everyone can relate to something in every single one of her songs. Also, Spanish is known as the language of love. It is a beautiful, expressive language. Is it any wonder her music sells so well?

Since the first I herd the Album, was from a friend, and since that day I loved it. It's so weird but every song it describes how I feel, about my relationship, with my boyfriend. I recommend this CD, to everyone, if you like shakira,(which who doesn't) you would love this cd, and her new one too!!! Don't buy cause we like it, lisen to it and buy it cause you will!

I think this is Shakira's best album. This album best shows the artists personality, talent and best expresses her attitude toward the rules, love and other personal matters that confront her. The album is entirely written by Shakira and contains her signature song Ojos asi. If you are thinking of purchasing a Shakira album, your money will be best spent on Donde Estan Los Ladrones.

this is such a great album, in whatever language. Every song on this album could be a hit. It's adventures, varied. Pop, Rock with Latin and Arabic influences. Fav's include Ojos Asi, No Creo, Tú, Inevitable and Moscas En La Casa.

This is one of those albums that I simply HAD to buy after hearing a single song from it while switching radio stations in L.A. one day back in 1998. This album is one of the finest achievements I've yet heard in the rock arena. Literally EVERY single song on it is nearly perfect, so it's very difficult to pick a favorite. The comparisons to Morrissette are interesting, but frankly, this album kicks major tail over Alanis -- that's how good it is. It's an album you listen to, and then listen to it again, right away. It's like a musical ice cream sundae -- you don't want the goodness to end. An absolute MUST BUY for anyone, whether you speak or understand Spanish or not. Musical excellence and passion transcend languages, and this album is proof of that. I agree wholeheartedly with the professional review. You will cherish this album, guaranteed.
