This album relies on a bit more synth than earlier albums, but still boasts a full spectrum of musical talent from Lee, Lifeson, and Definately Peart. Subdivisions, Losing it, and The Analog Kid are all great hits that loop in my playlist at least three times a week.

An overall awesome album. A number of these songs really hit close to home. I really feel attached to Losing It. It makes alot of sense.I try to emulate Geddy when I play bass, because most of the lines are just so awesome. Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time.

This was my first live show of this group (Vancouver BC) And one I will not soon forget.. Being a teenager and seeing the trio that motivated me through the 80s was "WOW",not only seeing the show but meeting the person who started my interest not only in writing songs but also playing the drums.. I had met the #1 band in Canadaian history and this album only helped speed the process of their success.. With Tom Sayer still in my head and 20.000 people singing Closer to the Heart the new sound was still RUSH and try to find a CANADAIAN group that had some-thing todo with the Space Shuttle (Countdown). If you need that fix of R&R history this is one you should consider buying SOON

Chris Lethbridge
03/27/02
