I think Rage Against the Machine is one of the most influencal bands in hard rock-rap music Was this review helpful? FEEL THIS! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 7/6/2005A review of The Battle Of Los Angeles by tallbob9 Everyone else seems to love this album and i won't be any different. RATM has a different sound that i didn't like at first but now i love it. it picks you up with Testify and doesn't let go till the end. you have trouble just listening to one song at a time; you just want more. Tom Morello to say the least is a guitar god. When i found out that they only use vocals, bass, guitar, and drums and thats it i was shocked. As with any Rage or Audioslave CD Tom Morello amazes you with his solos. And i think we all can agree that Tim C. is one of the best bassest out there. Even if you don't give jack $hit about the message you'll at least enjoy the music. this is their best album and thats all their is to say. Was this review helpful? The music is all full of chunky and explosive riffs from Tom Morello, and Bombastic fast paced raps from Zack, This is by far their best effort. My fav songs are 'Sleep now in the fire', 'maria' and 'Gurilla Radio'.

Tom Morellos Blend of simple funk Beats and hard driven Monster rock riffs there is everything an aspiring guitarist could want. I was recently blown away by one of my guitar magazines when they stated that the most influential rap rock band was Limp bizkit...witch I thought was rather odd...but later in the artical stated that they were the best thing this side of Rage against the machine...which just left me confused Rofl...well I'll leave u with that, Rock on Was this review helpful? hard to say, but i like this Rage Against the Machine album the most. Was this review helpful? Sign In 4 out of 7 users found this helpful Posted: 10/31/2004A review of The Battle Of Los Angeles by boomCAK0 i don't know what to call it: rap, metal, rock, or hip hop. hell sometimes it seems like techno. either way, this band is one of the most original bands ever. there'll never be anything like them again. limpbizkit, who? nobody can match, well, their rage, music, or lyrics. who cares if zach doesn't 'sing'? he's awesome and his lyrics are the greatest ever. tom can make sounds with a guitar that i never knew existed, and the bass lines are better than any other. and where can you find a drummer who blends so well with the rest of the band? listen to mic check and you'll know what i'm talking about with all this. EVERY song on this cd is amazing. there is, literally no song that i don't like on any of the first three cds. buy all three and i guarentee you won't be able to stop listening to any of them. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 1/27/2003A review of The Battle Of Los Angeles by Anonymous This is as every album and song RATM lay their hands on a power-driven, adranaline-pumping and fighting-spirit exploding institution, with riffs from the Riff-God of the world, Tommy, and words from one of the greatest writers of today, keeping the revolution alive, Zack.. This album makes a statement para lucha y partido.. put songs like Testify or Sleep Now In The Fire on on your sound system, crank it up and tell me you don't feel the spirits rising and the words cribbling down your spine..peace..
