Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful this is a very good collection of nirvanas greatest hits and popular songs, plus the unreleased final recording of you know youre right. this was the first nirvana cd i bought and it really got me into them(now i have every album) its a good start but i have a few complaints, mostly i think there should be a ton more songs on here(like more stuff from bleach and insesticide)but there really are too many great songs to narrow down it to one CD. anyway the songs that are present are all awesome and the live unpluged version of all apologies is pretty cool. this is definately a good collection and if you are new to nirvana this is a good start but definately get some other albums too. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Do we really need this? Any true Nirvana fan own the music contained on this disc, minus the previously unreleased track. Guess what? I'll just download the unreleased track and save $10 thanks. Was this review helpful? I hate it so I made a point not to memorize anything about it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 3 out of 4 users found this helpful Posted: 8/23/2005A review of Nirvana by SlowDanceontheInside__ This album rocks, not as good as their others, such as Bleach, Nevermind, In Utero, etc, but it's still great, considering it includes many songs from those said albums. I love it. 5*'s. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 3 users found this helpful Posted: 8/5/2005A review of Nirvana by RockGuitarist_151 Dude this C.D kicks A**!!! Buy it dude!!! Sign In 0 out of 1 users found this helpful Posted: 5/27/2005A review of Nirvana by rob_ryan_2000 What can I say...this album is one of the greatest things that happened to me. Why? because it introduced me to one of the greatest bands in existance. When I got the album I was a bit skeptical cos most of the people I knew dispised anything that wasnt rap, but when " you know your right" began playing I knew they had to be wrong. Every song on this album is amazing. I know thats kind of an obvious statement for a greatest hits, but its true, I adore every single song here. Once i got addicted to the album I NEEDED to find more nirvana songs, so I bought Nevermind, Utero and bleach and was really surprised at how many songs were missing from the greatest hits. Only 1 song off Bleach, what the Hell? And where the hell is "serve the servants", "anuerysm" "On a Plain" "school", etc? Anyway, even though the album lacks some great songs, whats there is still some of the best music going. "You know your right", "about a girl", "smells like teen spirit", "Lithium", "heart-shaped box" and Pennyroyal tea" are all brilliant songs which are definatly worth listening to. In the end I absolutely adore this album (even after 3 years of constatly listening to it) and I suggest anyone who likes GOOD music to get this album RIGHT now. And when I say right now I mean it! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 3 users found this helpful hey...now dont get me wrong, i LOVE Nirvana, but i cant believe geffen used the "new song" to get us to buy this CD...i mean, "you know your right" is an awsome song, but they just should have added it to the uber awsome box set...instead they threw it in with a bunch of song we already have heard, except for the tiny changes made in pennyroyal tea...its a good buy for new fans to nirvana though. To get the real Nirvana i would reccomend getting In Utero first. Other than That this CD still rocks. How couldn't it - it's Nirvana.
