Whenever I listen to this album. I always CRANK UP my speakers and Subwoofers and turn my Muti-Channel sound to the Mountian sound channel FOR MORE BASS...AWESOME!!!!

With amazing Riffs and notes. A monument in Thrash metal!!!!! Containing Classics Such as Master of Puppets Orion and Battery. Amazinly written. I recomend this Album for people who like metal especially Thrash metal. But I Would rank this album as the third Best in Metal. I Would Also rank this As the 2nd Best Of the 1980s after Iron Maidens Number Of the Beast.

While not the hardest or heaviest album of all-time, it was well-formulated and the most refined of anything that came before it. Metallica finally brought some much needed light and focus onto the heavy metal scene, showcasing musicians with true talent and not just guys who could play really fast and yell. The guitar riffs are amazing and James Hetfield has an angry, yet controlled voice that guides each (non-instrumental) song along to its final destination. Master of Puppets will always be a perennial favorite of many metal and non-metal fans alike. Was this review helpful? Though tame by todays metal standards, this was one of the hardest rocking albums when it was released and practically each song was awesome. Todays Metallica is not what they used to be! This is in every aspect the album that defines heavy metal. This is without Question the greatest achievement in the history of metal music blowing away the competition. I honestly cant think of another album by any band that rivals this except perhaps Metallicas previous release Ride the Lightning. Metallica with this masterpiece assert them selves as the undisputed kings of the genre and the innovaters as far as thrash goes. All of the tracks are astounding and unique in their own way. the best track is probably the title track but disposable heroes and saniterium are not far behind. great thrash classics bookending the album battery and damage inc. The thing That Should Not Be is fantastic and shows metallicas versatility, Leper Messiah is the most underated track on the album with power and aggression resignating throughout and orion is perhaps the greatest instremental in the history of rock n roll. If you claim to be a fan of metal and you do not have this album, then you are kidding yourself, buy it immediately Was this review helpful?
