This album is meant to be listened to track by track as a whole, to truly appreciate this 18 track lp. Although it is an amazing listen to full and full, its not as good as his first Lp Antichrist Superstar, which is as everyone knows his masterpiece. However, this album is a must have for anyone in the dark styles of industrial music, as it reminds me of a nine inch nails album, considering if it werent for Trent Reznor, Manson would not be who he is today and as big as he is. [My personal second favourite one, after Nirvana's In Utero and Nevermind.
We have here plenty of metal gems [Love Song, Fight Song, Valentine's Day], lyrics full of anger and wry mood about the wrong image that world has about him [after Columbine], esepcially in "Target Audience", the best sonic attack of the album, with a breath taking chorus.
The album is filled up with the scary, bleak mood of all the albums of Marilyn Manson, which is clearly seen in small gems like "Godeatgod".. Buy this album if you like heavy listenings.. Don't judge him by appearance and photos, his music really kicks asses. Was this review helpful? I consider this album to be the epitome of Warner's career. I could be wrong, there may be more to come, and I say "Bring it on!".

I FIND THE MUSIC NON-REPPETATIVE AND CONSTANT! LYRICS, KICK ASS! I BELIEVE PEOPLE CAN RELATE TO SOME OF THE SONGS. THERE IS NOT ONE SONG ON THIS ALBUM THAT I DON'T LIKE, BUT SOME OF MY FAVORITES ARE "THE FIGHT SONG" "DISPOSABLE TEENS" "PRESIDENT IS DEAD" "THE NOBODIES" AND "VALENTINE'S DAY" THESE I LOVE! AS FAR AS FLAWS, THERE ARE NONE! WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS ALBUM I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT, AND I STILL FEEL THAT WAY! IF I COULD TELL ANYONE HOW I FEEL, IT WOULD BE A MEARACLE, ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT YOU HAVE TO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELFVES! I RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM TO ANYONE! GET IT AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK! EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE MANSON... LIKE MY SIS' SAYS... IT GROWS ON YOU! BUT I LOVE HIM! I GIVE HIM AS MAY STARS AS I COULD POSSIBLY GIVE HIM! :) XOXOXOXO

HEATHER Was this review helpful?
