All songs in this album are great. All the lyrics are touching. I can't fall asleep listening to this music. Two song lives in my heart; Run to the water and Dance with you. When and if they come here in Seattle I must see them play :)

This is the most of the best albums by anyone ever - there is not enough words to explain the influence of the athmosphere and the inspiring, piercing exsistence of this living art-piece on a human being. You just have to live through it. Everyone has to. Wah!

This album affirmed Live as one of the great bands of the 90s. This is their 4th album (not their third as suggested in another review here). Their previous 3 albusm are allc classics too - Secret Samadhi, Throwing Copper and Mental Jewelry. Standout tracks on this album (apart from the whole thing being a fantastic theme (love) album) are: The Dolphins Cry, Run To The Water, Where Fishes Go, Dance With You - but every song is a piece of musical and writing genius - but this album, and cuddle up in bed with the one you love

I've listened to this band since 1990. They suprise me every time both with the lyrics & music. "They Stood-up For Love" is one of my favorite songs from album; I like the acoustic version of this song most of all. The whole album is good! Live has proven to be a real band by setting their own course and being original in their sound.

The Distance to Here is a great album. Live's lyrics are very inspiring and their music is also excellent. What makes this CD special is that you can't find any other similar to it: it is unique in every single aspect.

LIVE came out with their second album, ";Throwing Copper";, in 1994. It was a huge success worldwide. And afterwards the critics were comparing LIVE with bands like Pearl Jam, REM, Counting Crows etc. To be compared with these bands resulted in huge expectations to their third album. And the third album got the title ";The Distance To Here";. Many critics still say that Throwing Copper is LIVE’s best album, but I disagree. The Distance To Here opens with a great song, ";The Dolphins Cry";. Front man Ed Kowalczyk really connects with the his own written lyrics, and the variation makes you want more music from LIVE. And just when you thought that it couldn't get any better, it does... All 56 minutes on the album is fantastic. So my advise to you; Go out and get this album in a hurry!!
