The worst song on this album is Hola Hovito, and I still like that track. Disincluding Reasonable Doubt, the only other CDs you could call better are Dr. Dres The Chronic, OutKasts Aquemini, Nas Illmatic or Stillmatic. Was this review helpful? 50 who? NOBODY measures up to Jay-Z lyrically....nobody. no one has his flow, his swagger, his on mic persona. no ones lyrics even come close, and when you have every credible producer in the industry begging to produce a song on the album....you run the industry, like Jigga has for 10 straight summers now. Ask Nas, Mobb Deep, and everyone else dumb enough to challenge the champion. Was this review helpful? Jay-Z's Takeover got tooken out by Nas's Ether song. Was this review helpful? I listen 2 all his records including this and i love his music. He is a real guy and u can feel where he's coming from if u form the hood, but if u not u can feel his struggle with everyday life. Blueprint 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
Its really an album to listen!!!!!!!!!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 3 users found this helpful Posted: 2/2/2004A review of The Blue Print [Explicit Version] [Explicit] by Tarizzle03 This is with out a doubt the best album released by Jay-Z, it contained every element you needed to have a classic vocal diary. From the start he's cocky saying "the ruler is back" and letting his dominance be known with the Takeover, and the letting the rap game know since late 97 he has single handedly been the rap game! This is Jigga at his prime lyrically, and as hip-hop icon of NYC, this may not be the best rap album ever, but this ranks in the top 10 of all time! Was this review helpful? I've loved it from the first i heard of it or heard it. I can't seem to find another album as ass kickingly good as this one. Jay-Z got me hook on this kind of rap from day 1. Injoy the album. You shant be disappointed. Was this review helpful?
