The Perfect harmony between voice and instrument will have your hairs standing on end.
Although this album is more mellow and sad compared to the previous albums, it still leaves you with high spirits. A must have for anyone who can appreciate true, passionate music. My personal favourite album of the century, both centuries in-fact. Was this review helpful? I feel so comfortable listing to them, every C.D. can calm me and make me feel however I want to. It's like being in a whole different world when I listen to them. From Fungus Amongus to Make Yourself, this band has shown themselves ready and willing to provide it's followers with compelling tunes ranging from the dark and dismal to the upbeat and jazzy... and everything in between. Morning View is no different. Although Incubus has definitely beared some new muscles with this album, (slower, more melodic ballads, frontman Brandon Boyd's ever-increasing vocal range, and even more deep, soulful lyrics than ever before seen by the group) Incubus has proven themselves all the more willing to cater to the tastes of a variety of music lovers. Morning View is an outstanding testament to this Incubus' growth and evolution as musicians. Was this review helpful? There is not a whole lot of progress here, but it sounds good, just like Make Yourself did. Nothing new here, but more of the same. If you liked the last one, you'll like this one. It has so many different songs, practically for each mood you can have...I bought it mainly from hearing "Wish You Were Here" and I got more than I had expected! Aqueous Transmission is the most peaceful song I've ever heard...and Circles is also a very very good song too! Nevermind that..I think they're all good! All Tracks are unique and easy to listen to. I have never felt like I have had to stuggle to like one of the songs from this CD, you just love each one and can't get enough of it.
