Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  A true collection of New Orleans historyPosted: 2/19/2007A review of Oh, My Nola by hia2005 Mr. Connick features not only his great extradinary talent of parousing across the ivories and singing in such a way that makes any one in their right mind melt but at the same time Connick has come up with arrangments for old time New Orleans songs which feature is extremely versatile big band and featured soloists. Especially New Orleans has got to be thankful and appreciative of Connicks song.anthem All these People to Hurracaine Katerina. This song also features that great talent and shining light that is Kim Burrell. Overall the Crescent City shall truely pay its respects and honor to Mr. Connick come New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival come around when Mr. Connick closes the festival with his great musical stylings.
I give this album 5 stars ...but truly it deserves an A or 6 out of 5 stars.
