You couldn't really classify what genre of music this is, which is a good thing. It's something original and has its own sound. If you like Blur then you will like this album. I for one, when listening to the album, only found a few obscene words used, so I don't why they gave this a parental advisory. Among the Nelly Furtado and Outkast videos which were played every five minutes, there was also this quirky video with interesting animation. The first time I saw it I didn't catch the name, the second time I payed more attention. When I came back over the pond to the states I hopped on the internet and researched this band known as Gorillaz.<br>They have a very fresh rap meets ambient flow, and interesting turn for interesting times.<br>Where everything is being cross breeded and cloned and pump full of steroids to make bigger, better, and faster. It is nice to see a band make a solid endevor into new musical terrain.<br><br>Thier new album G-sides is sure to be a crowd pleaser with remixes and a few new songs, should provide adquiate hold over intil thier next big album.<br><br>I see that I am no where near my 2000 character limit.<br><br>Chaz Was this review helpful? I noticed that my cable provider started carrying MTV2, so I checked it out one day and uncovered the Clint Eastwood video. That was enough for me to go out and buy the album.<br><br>I'm also a pretty big Blur fan, so this album was a hit for me on first listen. <br><br>I'm a bigger fan of Damon's singing than Del's rapping, but Del's style does appeal in small doses like Clint Eastwood.
