This is THE album that turned me on to country music. I figured that if country music could be this pretty and yet sing so beautifully, I wanted part. Not only did Take Me As I Am get me paying attention to Faith Hill (I went to see her in concert when she was the opening act for Alan Jackson) but it also made my taste in music much more eclectic.
