Badu woos the soul with her sultry, sexy, funkalicious voice. The muscian needs more instrumental music, rather than electronic-fake beats, to do her right. This album falls short from her previous releases due to this lack of realness. You can't hang every Picasso in discount-mart plastic frames, right? It might work okay for a few, but wrong to do them all that way.<br><br>Badu's experimenting, and that's alright. Some of the are tunes are no doubt delicious.
