Aguilera to make this album. It's absolutly awful. Her voice sounds really bad, the music is not good, the lyrics are even worse...

I dont know why critics are so negative about this album, because I ABSOLUTELY love it. Songs with a message Soar, Walk Away, Cant Hold Us Down, Fighter, The Voice Within, Im Okay, (my personal favorite) Keep On Singin My Song and ofcourse Beautiful. And what leaves are great catchy songs like Dirrty, Infatuation, Get Mine Get Yours. Stripped Interlude I and II definitly add something to the album, she explains that she is just being who she is. CA has one of the best voices Ive ever heard and she showcases it on this album by singing soulful songs from her heart. This is one of my most favorite albums and sits right next to my Black Label Society metal albums! When she sings, I close my eyes and her voice takes me away. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful True TalentDespite what everyone says about her appearance at the release of this CD, Christina remains the preeminant songstress of this genre. When pitted against her peers, none of them can hold a serious note to the ones that effortlessly flotes from her vocal cords. It was over a year before I actually lisetned to this CD after it released. I didn't care for "Dirrty nor Beautiful" when they released on the radio, then I heard "Impossible" off a mix of a friend and recognized the voice as Christina's. Once I was told which CD it was on, I bought it!!! "Stripped" Rocks!!! I was so impressed with the many different vibes the CD displayed. Coming from a background of jazz vocalist and improvisations, I'd have to say that this CD compares with a great majority of that music, but on the Pop level. I enjoyed her fisrt CD emmencely, but this one took me by surprise. I didn't know she was this good. Keep singing Christina with the talent God blessed you with. Looking forward to the next project. PEOPLE GIVE HER A LOT OF CRAP ABOUT HER STYLE BUT SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE COMPARED TO BRITANY AND ALL THE OTHERS. SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THEM. SHE HAS AN AMAZING VOICE! Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Forget the RumorsForget the sexual rumors about Miss Aguilera, she has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard. I was never a really big fan of Christina. Yeah, I liked some from her 1st CD, but never bought it. Then I heard Britney Spears singing in concert and was totally turned off. I was always a Britney fan and always thought she was way better, but now I stand corrected. After that, I bought the 1st Christina album and soon after, "Stripped." I think people are grossed out by the title, but let me tell you, it has nothing to do with getting naked. "Stripped," just basically means she wanting you to get to know her. Christina writes and sings, she is incredible and it is so sad that she can't get promoted as much as Britney, who by the way is only this famous because she beautiful. But, you don't see someone singing when you're listening to a CD, go for REAL singers, not lip syncers. "Stripped" is a REAL CD, and she gives you your moneys worth. Was this review helpful?
