Funny how a song can be extremely misunderstood and, because of it, become an anthem for an entire country. The title track of Born In The USA was supposed to be a protest against the war and Reagan's administration. Instead, it was turned into a song used by Reagan himself for his political campaign. It became an anthem to all Americans. The album itself is an excellent album. There are some all-time classics (Born In The USA, Glory Days, Dancing In The Dark, My Hometown), some lesser known rockers (Cover Me, Bobby Jean, No Surrender, Darlington County), and many, many more. This CD is definitely one of the all-time favorites for many Springsteen fans. If you don't have this album...get it. This is a must have.

Now why do fans of Bruce Springsteen call him "The Boss"? This album Born In The USA is a very good clue. If you don't have it, but are thinking of it, I promise you, it Rocks. Even besides "Born In The USA", "Glory Days", "Dancing In The Dark", and "My Hometown", which later showed up on the Greatest Hits album, There is not a song on here that dosesn't Rock some how. "No Surrender" and "I'm Going Down" are absolutely great songs. "Working On The Highway" is a fast paced rockin' song. That and "Darlington County" have fun stories put to great rock music. I highly recomend this album. Trust me, this album rocks!

Hello, my name is Samantha and I am in the 6th grade. I am kindof clueless of what a review is exactly, but all I know is that this is a great song and rated very high. This song really brings out goodness of being i the USA. As an American after the attack on September 11, I have learned to respect this country even more than I used to. I used to see numerous amounts of flags flying high and proud on the fourth of July, but now I see that everyday. I know this might not mean much and that I am only in the 5th grade but it is a big impact on my life.<br> Thank you
