I thought this albumCD was and is a classic not only for Bon Jovi fans but for the great hair bands too!!!!! Was this review helpful? A CD that fueled a tour so big that they hated each other when they got home and didn't speak to each other for a year or so. It was all down hill after this. They just took themselves too damn serious in the 90s... shame. Anyway, good songs here... Homebound Train will always be a long lost classic...I remember buying it on the day it came out from Woolies (UK readers will understand the significance) in some village someplace during a crappy holiday with my folks... I had to wait three days before I could hear it. I had no idea about the songs, but I could tell you every detail of the cover!Great... makes me want to get a blond streaky mullet perm. Always a good sign in an album. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 6/27/2002A review of New Jersey [Remastered] by Anonymous One of rock´s most complete albums for me, along with Springsteen´s Born to Run and maybe Hendrix´s Are you Experience?
It reached Bon Jovi´s highest to date in attitude (99 in the shade), lyrics (Wild is the wind), music (Homebound Train) and pure fun live raw (Lay your hands on me). It was totally a sign of the times of rock´s best band of the (our) decade.
My most played record of all time. Mind you, I was 14 in 89 (the perfect age for starting to know and love rock´n´roll) Greetings from Madrid, Spain Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-7 of 7 Per Page |
