Ive never written a review before, but something had to be said for this album. I think this is Bob Dylans best album. It roughly rolls off the tounge with perplexity, yet its subtle breathes speak to you with agreement, giving it a familliar and comforting feel. Although, it does have a foriegn and mysterious sound. Bobs most melodic whining Ive heard yet. Tracks such as One More Cup Of Coffee and Romance In Durango speak volumes to the folk music crowd, painting pictures of a scene I could not otherwise imagine. Was this review helpful? There are some really good songs and a couple of fillers but overall, it's still a rather good album. The most popular is "Hurricane" but there is whimsy and mystery and attempts at folk ballads with electric intruments. Violins, harmonicas and various guitars and percussion make for a somewhat messy but melodic affair. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-2 of 2 Per Page |
