This album has a few songs that are brutal and a few that a light. Well balanced and great sounding album. Also, at about 2:30 into Running From Nothing, the dude lets out a scream something fierce that really gets the rage fired up.

I saw Blood Simple on the Alliance of Defiance tour with OTEP, and American Head Charge, and I must say this band has left a lasting impression. Great guitar riffs, wonderful drumming, and excellent singing. If you want to listen to something that will get your head banging one moment, and singing the next moment, this is the album for you. Not only does this album bring out the pure Metal Core feeling it sets to the stage for an all out war with emotion. Check these guys out, either by picking up the album, or seeing them live.
