The main attraction of course is Janis. She could belt it out with the best of them, man or woman. And this is fantastic blues infused late '60's psychadelia. I bought this as part of the boxed set so the other big attraction is the unreleased tracks, especially the live ones. What if Janis hadn't shot up ten times her normal heroine shot that one fateful day . . . Was this review helpful? Many many memories of back in the day associated with album. If you want to pick and choose and just download a few songs get Summertime, a fine vehicle for Janis to show off her voice and Ball and chain, Janis shines and the guitar work is primo.
