audioslave are just another one of those uniqe bands we dont see everyday, this album sounds amazing. to be honest audiosalve were not as good as id thought theyed be better than this becasue they came from two amazing bands, but they are still the most amazing band of the 21st century, song to song, back to front htis album is awesome , highly recomment it to anyone who likes rage or soundgarden.

Most of the problems that Audioslave had with the release of its first album, was that youd get into some of their songs and the song would get going and never really seem to go anywhere. Sure. They still had great singles like Like a Stone, Set if Off, and Shadow on the Sun. They sounded like Chris Cornell added onto Rage Against the Machine in place of Zach de la Rocha, must as they were expected to sound like. By their Second album, Out of Exile, Audioslave really had developed its own sense in how they delievered their songs with their unique guitar styling, and their very distinct instrumental or techno refrains on a majority of their songs. They also came out with great hits like Be Yourself, Out of Exile, and Doesnt Remind Me. However, I must say that Ive never seen such a diversity of sound, that I see their latest album, Revelations. On one hand, you get the same sound Audioslaves had since its conception in songs like Revelations, and Sound of a Gun to more soul-based songs like Original Fire to a semi-jazz feel you get in Broken City. Just from listening to the first few songs on the Album, you can see how Audioslaves is taking a much more simplistic, and traditional approach to Rock, more to the point that it resembles older Rock and Roll. The classic Audioslave refrains have also been drastically improved in virtually all of the songs. In their other two previous albums, Audioslaves refrains either really hintered or boosted their songs dramatically. They have finally worked their refrains to work much more smoothly around their songs and Im sure that many Audioslave fans will like. Overall the album is an obvious choice for any Audioslave fan, and will attract many new ones with a variety of new hits. This new album is alot softer than Audioslaves prior albums, so some Rage fans might be dissapointed over this but this change does provide some interesting sounds. I definately recommend this album as a buy.

This was one of the worst Audioslave CDs ive heard in my life. That was untill I gave it another chance. I love everything about this album. From the opening track to the final one. Chris Cornell shows us amazing vocal range, and lyrical song writing. This CD is showing everything that Audioslave is capable of, and more. I think this is another experimental album... But then again im not sure. Personally I still believe that their first CD was the best effort they put forth. But this is truly amazing. I highly recommend this CD to anyone.

This is an amazing record and i would recommend it to anyone who like alternative music. I felt that although the work of all the members in this album shows brilliantly they have lost a bit of the spunk and harness they had in the previous albums. But like many people have interpreted the band is now stepping in a different direction exploring different sonic barriers as more of their songs have funky feels to them and there are some definite singles in the album such as revelations, one and the same, broken city, jewel of the summertime and wide awake.Once again tom morello amazes with crazy guitar work and memorable licks. A lot of credit also has to be given to the bassist and drummer who are talented and let all of their skills show on this album. An amazing album, although maybe not their best, but definitely signals the rise of the band and making of even better records. recommended buy.

This is truly a FANTASTIC album!!! I recommend this to anybody who likes Audioslave. All of the songs are awesome and they also sound more like Rage Against the Machine (well since they really are, its not really a surprise) in this album then anyother they have. One more thing, Tom Marello is #$@#en KING!!!
