Allice In chains is my favorite band and they didnt deliver on this one. I like it but I still gave it a low score because they try to harmonize to much. Was this review helpful? This album depended more on Deep melody and Strong Tones then the guitar solos and sctreetching vocals of previous albums. This album may not be considered the best, but shows the best definition as the members of Alice in Chains as people, and is also the best produced album of all their others. Was this review helpful? Several tracks from "Alice In Chains" went to radio, and are still playing, now, ten years after the album came out.

Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful Posted: 7/6/2005A review of Alice In Chains by grweatherman this is a moody masterpiece, filled with excellent harmonies. the songs are a bit slower and darker than some of their previous work. while dirt is still the band's masterpiece, this is a worthy follow-up effort. Sign In 10 out of 10 users found this helpful Posted: 11/14/2002A review of Alice In Chains by Heart_Kry This is probably the best album ever created by Alice in Chains. They slow down a little from harder, slightly quicker songs from past albums such as ";Man in the Box";, from ";Facelift";. Great lyrics and a great match with Layne and Jerry's voices make the songs on this album perfect. With a little comedy behind the whole scheme of things in songs such as ";God Am"; and ";Nothin' Song";, this album is a little different from the normal Alice in Chains. Originally the last album before the supposed breakup of the band, the song ";Over Now"; depicts just that. If you're any kind of Grunge or Alice in Chains fan, you MUST buy this album. This is some great music from one of the greatest bands in history. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-8 of 8 Per Page |
