Critic's Review:
The fifth CD of mainstream jazz recorded at Hamburg's America House, this exciting session reunites the co-leaders of Soprano Summit, clarinetist Kenny Davern and Bob Wilber (who doubles on soprano and clarinet). Assisted by guitarist Dave Cliff, bassist Dave Green and drummer Bobby Worth, Davern and Wilber romp on such pieces as "Lady Be Good," "If Dreams Come True," "Comes Love" and "A Porter's Love Song to a Chambermaid." Whenever the two reeds get together, the results are explosive and hard-swinging; this highly recommended CD from the German Nagel-Heyer label is no exception. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
