Critic's Review:
Where Is Love, the recording debut by Peggy Duquesnel, is quite impressive. Her voice is appealing, she plays piano well, and the set is well paced. Some selections have Duquesnel and her trio backed by a string orchestra arranged by Alan Broadbent, and vocal numbers alternate with instrumentals. The music overall is straight-ahead jazz, and although some songs ("Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most," "It Might as Well Be Spring," "Every Time We Say Goodbye," and "Up Jumped Spring") have been recorded a bit too much (and definitively) in the past, this is a fine maiden effort from Duquesnel. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
