Five years after her first solo album, Never Enough, Smyth decided "there's such a thing as too much love" and proceeded to detail lover's trials for an entire album. Despite production by Bruce Springsteen keyboardist Roy Bittan, this isn't as good as Never Enough, although "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough," a duet with Don Henley, got tons of radio play. ~ Brian Mansfield, All Music Guide
