Critic's Review:
New members Dave Williamson (bass), Byron Byrd (keyboards, vocals), Bill Jones (guitar, vocals), Kevin Sutherland (keyboards, vocals), Alex Charles (vocals), and Andy Blackwood (vocals) join original member Keith Wilder (vocals) to recreate the Heatwave sound on this mind-blowing live set. "Boogie Nights," preceded by a long introduction, begins more than 20 minutes of grooves with "Too Hot To Handle" and a stretched out "Jitterbuggin'" bouncing you into the slow stuff. The Greek Theater crowd seems in awe at Heatwave's stunning performance of "Always Together" and amazed at their versatility on the pop/jazz flavored "Mind Blowing Decisions." "You Can Get It" is reggae done Heatwave style, not a bad mix at all. The lively "Introducing My Love" and "Who's Lonely Now," a lovely ballad, are studio recordings slapped on for promotional purposes. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
